159 Ho-De-No-Sau-Nee issued first patch from NYS OA lodges for the 2005 Jamboree. The GNFC contingent thought the Buffalo Chip hanger would be a nice friendship gift/ additional trader. I have confirmed with the 159 Lodge advisor that this was not sanctioned (before or after) by the lodge. While it is an official GNFC contingent item, it is not an OA item. Since it has been widely listed on eBay as an OA item. We plan to,list it in the Blue Book as a Y issue with a "Not an OA item" note in the desription. While lodge #159 has is already seeling a 2006 NOAC set, they do not mention NOAC on the flaps. Now Nacha Nimat Lodge #86 has issued 3 two piece sets for the 2006 NOAC winning the earliest release of NOAc issues award. The sets were ordered by the lodge, paid by the council, but when the order came in, the bears seemed more like teddy bears and the black bear totem of the lodge. It is likely a different design will be forthcoming. Thanks to George Jenning for the info and scans. However, here are the BB stats for the 3 sets with a picture of the red bordered set. The item below recently surfaced on eBay. As Lodge 219 was not in existence in 1992 it is likely that the patch was issued in 2002 for the 10th Anniversary. Hiawatha Seaway Council has a William Hillcourt Museum located at their Camp Woodland. My research has so far shown that this patch was not issued nor sanctioned by the lodge. Any additional information on this issue would be appreciated. It is tentatively the 219YA1.
